Wicks for your paraffin heater

Is your Wick heater burning unevenly, smelling more or going out quickly? Then the wick (wick) usually needs replacing. Here you'll find original wicks for Zibro, Toyotomi and Qlima wick heaters.

Each wick type fits only certain models. Look up your model number in the wick-finder to see which wick you need.

Tip: using good, fresh heater fuel helps your wick last longer.

Which wick do you need?

A good wick ensures a stable flame, little odor, and a reliable Wick heater. Here you can read when to replace it and how to find the right one.

When should you replace the wick?

  • The heater is difficult to light or goes out by itself.
  • The flame is irregular or the heater no longer heats properly.
  • You smell more fuel than usual when turning it on and off.
  • The top of the wick is hard, charred, or burned.

With normal use, a wick lasts one to two heating seasons.

Which wick fits my heater?

Wicks are not interchangeable: each type only fits certain models. Find the model number on the rating plate of your heater and use the wick finder. A few examples:

  • Zibro wick type F: including RS-22, RS-24, RS-2222, RS-30, and many R models.
  • Zibro wick type O: RC32.
  • Zibro wick type C: including RCA37, RC300, and London.
  • Qlima wick type O: Qlima R 4224S, R 8128S, and other R-series heaters.

Please note: the Zibro wick type O and the Qlima wick type O are different wicks.

Making your wick last longer

Always use fresh, water-free heater fuel; poor-quality or old fuel shortens the lifespan of the wick. Also follow the maintenance instructions in your heater manual.

Laser heater?

A laser heater does not have a wick. For laser heaters, you can find filters, tank caps, and replacement tanks at spare parts.
